Can you believe it? I’m up at 3AM again! My wife is sick so I can’t get upset about something like that. I helped her as much as possible and then, like every sensitive husband, I went in the living room and tried to sleep in the recliner.
It didn’t work well because I couldn’t get back to sleep. I did get caught up on my SnapChat though. 😉
Why the recliner, you ask? She’s sick and I don’t want to be sick. Plain and simple math.
My SnapChat video archive for Wednesday, the 2nd of March, 2016.
Today’s weather was better. We stayed right around the freezing mark but no real snow to speak of – other than what fell yesterday.
Today is a Wednesday and that means it’s #WordOnWednessday. Today’s word is actually a phrase. It’s “Pop Under”. AKA, pop-behind.
A pop-under is a pop-up tab or window that quietly (hopefully) falls behind the current content you’re on.
Today’s Word On Wednesday came for a Hot Blog Tips’ reader asking about pop-behinds because my most recent blog post was about opt-in pop-up ads.
I skipped the gym today because my package from B&H came and I had a lot of setting up to do. Items needed to use my mic and mixer for both video and podcasts.
Items delivered today included two (2) Audio-Technica ATR2100 mics, a Polsen OLM-10 Lavalier mic, a Zoom H4N digital audio recorder, and an ass-load of cables and connectors.
I didn’t need most of the cables right now but I’ll have them for future connections.
I also bought a Behringer U-Control UCA222 (USB audio interface with digital output) that I don’t seem to need.
It’s almost midnight as I post this and I have the two new mics (ATR2100’s) working great but my Heil PR-40 isn’t putting out for some reason.
I believe I have the mix-minus set-up correctly but haven’t tested it yet.
I also haven’t even attempted to connect my audio processor – Beringer Multicom Pro-XL (MDX4600). That and the PR-40 will have to wait for another day. I’m tired.
