My Snapchat video and daily archive for Wednesday, the 16th of March 2016.
Making my breakfast smoothie and Vitamix soup
The first thing I did this morning is bust out the groceries we bought last night and get to work on the Vitamix. I made a Chia Seed Coconut & Spinach Smoothie while my wife made chicken vegetable soup for my lunch.
My wife’s vegetable soup was nothing short of amazing. She’s the best cook on the planet.
My smoothie? Well, let’s say I was able to drink it. LOL
It had a thick consistency of vomit and looked like toxic waste. It didn’t taste bad, though. My buddy, AJ, mentioned that it would have tasted better had I added some sort of sweetener. I agree.
Tomorrow, I think I’ll add either a little Stevia or Peppermint Extract. Peppermint is the only extract I have on hand but there are many other flavors to try.
Today’s Word On Wednesday was fun. I swiped it from the UnPodcast – UnMarketing.
The word? Booketing.
Booketing it short for the term, “Facebook Marketing.” Pretty cool, right? Wait, it gets better. LOL
Why isn’t it Faceketing? Umm, say that fast a couple of times. 😉
New Wednesday topic?
I don’t know if it’ll stick but I did, and made up, “What Is It Wednesday.” Yep, we can always use another hashtag, right? Cough, cough. #WhatIsItWednesday
I snapped a couple video snaps of some commercial heavy equipment parts and asked my Snapchat friends what are they and what do they go to.
What? You want to know what I showed? You’re gonna have to watch the video. 😉
Got my workout on
I made it off work in time to hit the gym. I spent 30 minutes on the Octane Fitness RO4700 elliptical. So far, that machine is my favorite. I workout in a large activity center and they have several different elliptical machines and this one is the smoothest I’ve tried so far. I’d love to have one for the house but the $5,999 price tag, before some VERY expensive accessories (Add another $2k), puts it a little out of reach this week. 😉
Home for dinner
I came home to homemade spaghetti. I know, high carbs, right? Not exactly, we’re using zucchini noodles. Personally, I don’t care for zucchini BUT when they’re turned into fresh noodles, they taste great. I have no idea why but I think they taste better than regular spaghetti noodles.
Thanks, and blog on, Brian Hawkins
